Job Description

Locations to choose: Mechelen or Brussels

• To deal with all aspects of international and domestic import and export freight movements
• To monitor flights arrival times and inform the customer of delays
• To act as a contact between customers and suppliers to ensure all needs are met within the specified delivery time
• To liaise with overseas offices for shipment movements, taking responsibility for monitoring progress and keeping the customer advised of the status
• Updating customer reports ensuring accuracy before sending to customers
• Provide customs instructions to 3rd parties

Qualifications

• Over 2 years' experience in air freight forwarding environment position with current hands-on experience.
• Advanced English and Dutch skills, French would be an asset
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Flexibility in a constantly changing environment with occasional out of hours working required
• Willingness to visit occasionally our other Benelux offices
• Knowledge of CargoWise1 would be an advantage
